Problem
LexisNexis Risk needed to continuously evolve fraud and risk applications for state and government agencies. Applications were split across AngularJS legacy frontends, new Angular 9/10 apps, and multiple backend stacks.
Approach
- Built features on Angular 9/10 frontends, while maintaining AngularJS legacy code.
- Delivered backend APIs with Laravel/Lumen and Node.js services.
- Wrote automated tests with PHPUnit to stabilize releases.
- Documented APIs using Swagger and Postman for clarity across teams.
- Supported AWS/GovCloud operations for compliance and deployment.
Results
- Faster delivery of high-priority features with fewer regressions.
- Legacy AngularJS safely coexisted with new Angular code until migration.
- Improved developer and QA efficiency with test automation + documentation.
